Can a gaming monitor – VA also be good and used for productive work?
The answer is… Yes!!!
I’ve no issues reading Word, excel docs. Doing research on the web, reading articles, emails, notes… All is well and good for my relief 😅
Is it hard to adjust, and adapt to the curve on the monitor for my productive work?
The Answer is… Not at all!
You should be able to get to your work on the first day with no issues. At least that was for me. The curve didn’t present any issues.
If you have any issues, you can always use the centre of the screen for the long readings
Is the colour, and brightness good from default?
Yes! And you can use the text setup. It’s even better!
For gaming? NO, you’ll need to do some tweaks. On a PS5 – F1 2022, from default due to the HDR setup, the colour felt super strong. And if you remove the HDR it looks pail. So you’ll need to find your balance.
For consuming photos and videos, all good. Working on them… there’ll be challenges, maybe even issues. IPS panels are the best for these. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. I’ve started some work on Final Cut Pro and so far so good.
