It’s a Bluetooth near-field studio monitor with 100W Power. The 5 on the name refers to a 5.25-inch speaker.

All the specs it’s easy to find on their website, so here we’ll talk about why to choose it and first impressions.

Eris 5 BT Box

Let’s talk about First impressions, Cables, Bluetooth, Sound quality, and why to pick one.

The boxing is ok, and I like that they included some of the cables you might need to connect to it

The Presonus Eris E5 BT are compact two-way active studio monitors with Bluetooth connectivity. They feature a 5.25-inch Kevlar low-frequency driver and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, each powered by its own Class AB amplifier with a combined output power of 80 watts RMS. The speakers have a frequency response range of 53 Hz to 22 kHz and a maximum peak SPL of 102 dB.

The Eris E5 BT speakers have a rear bass-reflex acoustic port, which helps to extend the low-frequency response and reduce port turbulence. They also come with several EQ controls, including a High Pass Filter, a Midrange control, and a High-Frequency control, to help fine-tune the speakers to your listening environment.

Based on customer reviews, the Eris E5 BT speakers are generally well-regarded for their sound quality, with many reviewers praising their clarity, detail, and balanced frequency response. Some users have also appreciated the convenience of the Bluetooth connectivity, which allows for easy wireless streaming from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

However, a few reviewers have noted that the bass response may not be as strong as they would like, and some have experienced occasional connectivity issues with the Bluetooth functionality. Nonetheless, the Presonus Eris E5 BT speakers remain a solid option for anyone looking for compact studio monitors with Bluetooth connectivity.

You might experience a “static noise” depending on how you connect it. From my experience, you can get used to it or adjust how they are positioned to you, but this might affect the quality of the sound.
